You need to have an unobstructed view of the southern sky in order for your satellite dish to capture the satellite signal.
If you're a member of a home owner's association you should check their installation guidelines before you install your satellite TV system.
If you live in an apartment you must get permission from your landlord before you install your satellite TV system. (Note: If he or she won't let you install it on an outside wall or roof, your dealer can install it on a stand inside your apartment or on your balcony.)
You must reside in the United States of America.
